This brother and sister duo came for my summer boutique school photography sessions and I just want to say that I'm glad I have photo proof of how GORGEOUS these kiddos are! I loved this combo of their ages because we had a little bit of "serious" conversation, and a lot of silliness. They made our time together fun and easy!

One of the reasons I love using a black backdrop is that it draws the attention right to the child's face. Kids have the most genuine expressions, both in laughter and in more soulful looks. I love capturing both of those with nothing else to distract from them.
