When I was a little girl and dreamed of being a mom, I always thought I'd love to have twins. None of my babies ended up coming in pairs, but when my friend Rachel asked me to take newborn pictures of the twins she was expecting I was thrilled! I mean, the only thing sweeter than one new baby is two new babies!

I absolutely love to photograph newborns in their homes with their parents. It's such a unique few weeks of life, and it's my favorite thing to capture it right in the baby's (in this case, babies') own environment. I love to catch real little moments of diaper changes and cuddles and feedings. These are the things of life that pass so quickly!

Now, on to the babies!

Nathan and his twin brother Elijah are just about the cutest things you've ever seen! They were 8-days-old the morning we spent a couple hours together, getting pictures of them and their parents. I love how even at 1-week-old, you can already begin to see their individual personalities! Both babies were so sweet and clearly adored by their parents!
